How this tool works

Modern high-density orchards utilize dwarfing rootstocks on wire trellises spaced 4–6 feet apart in rows with 10–14 foot alleys for equipment. Freestanding semi-standards (MM.111) require 14–18 feet in-row spacing to prevent light interception shadowing.

Assumptions & Physical Constraints:

Rows are treated as straight rectangular geometry. Irregular boundaries, slope, drainage, access roads, turning radius, utility setbacks, terrain, canopy management, and local regulation require a site plan.
