How to read resistance claims
“Resistant” is relative, not absolute. Confirm the specific pest or pathogen, the comparison stock, and the trial conditions. For example, WSU describes G.41 as highly resistant to fire blight and phytophthora and tolerant of replant disease, while also stating that it requires tree support.
